1. Verify with ID.me
The buyer would leave Jersey Alerts for ID.me’s consent and verification flow. Jersey Alerts would receive the approved eligibility result, not copies of the buyer’s identity documents.

Jersey Alerts plans to let participating organizers offer discounts to eligible groups through ID.me verification. The option will appear only after ID.me approves the organization and production integration.
2. Apply the offer
After a successful verification, an eligible organizer-defined discount would be applied during the allowed purchase window and subject to its stated limits.
3. Complete checkout
The buyer would return to Jersey Alerts and complete the secure ticket purchase through Stripe with the adjusted price shown before payment.
What is needed before launch
Jersey Alerts must register an organization with ID.me, select the appropriate community-verification policies, receive production OAuth credentials, configure approved redirect URLs and complete end-to-end security testing. Until then, Jersey Alerts does not display an ID.me verification button or claim an ID.me-verified discount.
Organizers may still publish their own lawful public discount terms, but they are responsible for administering and honoring those offers.
